Avoiding people, places and things: "I try to avoid driving on the roads near the hospital." OR "I block it out - try not to think about it." OR "I try to stay away from things that remind me of it." Feeling emotionally numb: "I can't remember the last time I laughed or even had a good cry. It's like I can no longer feel anything." |
