YOU ARE NOW ENTERING A COMBAT ZONE
This Museum will depict warfare in all its grim reality. Dramatic life-and-death-like exhibits, interactive kiosks and games, special audio and lighting effects, rare archival footage, and an eye-popping-ear-shattering SenseSurround Theater will immerse you in the action.
The you are there concept is further enhanced by the personal artifacts and recorded stories of those who served, depicting the smallest details and deepest feelings of their experiences. The critically acclaimed Media Theatre will offer an added perspective on the times and battles presented with live presentations.
The Museum will fight one battle at a time beginning with one of
World War II's most pivotal engagements, the Battle of the Bulge. Other exhibits tied to WWII will honor the Tuskegee Airmen and the “Band of Brothers” of the 101st Airborne Division.
Future exhibits include the Battle for Iwo Jima in the Pacific Theater, MacArthur's brilliant Inchon Invasion in Korea , Vietnam's Tet Offensive, and Operation Desert Storm.
A permanent exhibit will be dedicated to the Medal of Honor recipients from Pennsylvania .
